1. How long have I been a Realtor?
I have been a Realtor for 17 months.
2. Any Real Estate Specialties?
I haven’t really found my niche yet, but I think it will probably be Residential, as I love dealing with real people and real life solutions to problems that arise in residential transactions.
3. Favorite part of the being a Realtor?
I think it’s the autonomy of the job. I have always been my own boss, and in this business, even though I have many mentors, I am still the one responsible for results. I love the discipline that takes! Also, I really love the entire staff and all the other Agents at Berkley & Veller, it feels like my other dysfunctional family!!
4. What unique skills, Ideas, experience, or background do you bring to the table?
I owned and operated two busy, successful restaurants in Brattleboro for many years, and started investing in Real Estate at that point, thirty years ago. I learned in the restaurant business that I needed to be organized, rested, and responsive. In my opinion, anyone involved in the Real Estate business, or any retail business for that matter, is only going to be successful and happy, if they truly enjoy what they are doing. I learned a long time ago, do the best you can, (because that’s all you CAN do!), enjoy every day, and the rest will follow.
