Biography

Jason Lovett is a New England native who has lived in Southern Vermont since 2014. Since graduating from Westfield State University in 2006, Jason dedicated his early professional life to education, specifically working with children and young adults with special needs. Most recently, Jason served as the Lead Special Educator and Case Manager for a school serving students from Southern Vermont and New Hampshire. Through his work with families, school districts, and navigating complex state and federal special education laws and policies, Jason developed a keen ability to advocate and bring all sides together to achieve positive results. As a licensed Vermont Realtor, Jason leverages his skillset to build relationships and foster trust with clients and stakeholders.

Jason makes his home in Brattleboro, along with his wife Andrea, daughter Catalina, and black lab Andina. Jason’s wife, Andrea, is originally from Peru, and the couple has shared great adventures during their travels throughout South America. During his personal time, Jason is an avocational Archaeologist who has studied and helped lead excavations at colonial and Native American sites throughout the United States, and even discovered what is likely the oldest documented artifact ever found in New England: a 13,000 year old spear point that dates back to the end of the last Ice Age!
